Tsukigata Kairaku Park: Owls fly overhead

An old oxbow lake of Ishikari-gawa is now a cheerful playground of Kairaku Park (皆楽公園) for locals. You can enjoy boating (¥300), park golf (¥400; closed Tue) and camping (¥200 per person). There are also rental bikes (¥100 per 30min). Owls fly overhead in this park if you are lucky (fortunately, at this time, I could see the owls here. Very close!). It is about 1km east of Ishikari-Tsukgiata Station on the JR Gakuen-toshi Line.
