Lake Shikotsu Marukoma Onsen Ryokan

Founded in 1915 at the northern shore of the Lake Shikotsu, the secret Marukoma Onsen Ryokan (丸駒温泉旅館) has two pleasant open-air baths: super panoramic bath and calm rocky bath. Hot water quality is perfect. It offers higaeri nyuyoku (日帰り入浴: day bathing: 10am-3pm; ¥1000) and lunch (ランチ: 11am-3.30pm) for nonguests.

Japanese-style rooms with lake or forest view, King of Sweden Carl Gustaf stayed here (and enjoy karaoke!) in 1990.

Dinner (or lunch) features himemasu (ヒメマス: kokanee salmon) cuisine. A free shuttle is available from and to Shikotsuko Onsen (支笏湖温泉) bus terminal.
