Shin-Sapporo Subcenter: Convenient access from the airport
Shin-Sapporo (新札幌) subcenter, about 12km east of the city center, is a convenient transportation hub connect with JR Chitose Line (all passenger trains, for southern and eastern Hokkaido, stop here) and Tozai subway line. Buses bound for Nopporo Forest Park, Ebetsu and Yubari.
There are some hotels (Arc City and Emisia Sapporo), shopping malls (Sunpiazza, Duo and Aeon) and family attractions (science center, indoor aquarium, swimming pool and bowling alley) within a short walking distance from the station. The town is currently being redevelopment.

The rapid Airport runs every 15 minutes for Sapporo (9min; ¥260) and New Chitose Airport (28min; ¥880). All limited express trains also stop here.
